    for the net force, shouldn't he be subtracting force applied in the x direction-force of friction. Why is he adding it if force of friction opposes motion?

    Hi Flipping Physics! You should remake this video on flipping physics channel. These are the only videos that I had to watch to understand Young's experiment. Maybe the newer videos might help my learning. Anyways, thanks for teaching.

    Yu are very good sir. But Sir, I sincerely wish you would just say the same in a slower pace. I had a really hard time understanding it. You were showing "sounds like this, pick like this" in very fast manner, by the time I see it the action was already done... 😔 I didn't mean yu sit and say but pls show slow... It would be much better if you would say again for the peeps who last track of your words in an instant. It took 2hrs for me to understand what yu really said in this video of 9 mins. I became a fan of your teaching and style after seeing this but regretting that yu should have said it more clear, I mean your deep enough in knowledge but we should understand what yu said right? I hope you would atleast see this comment and react by mentioning what you said briefly (as text at least) in the description or reply this comment. Sincerely, V

    Maybe the sounds doesn't come out from the sound hole, it comes out from the top itself, the sound hole functions as a port for releasing the pressure. If you covered the sound hole and made another one at the side, you would notice that fact... maybe i'm wrong, but i have a guitar with no sound hole and sounds amazing.

    • @againstTheMatrix471

      Well your wrong at this

    • @againstTheMatrix471
      @againstTheMatrix471 Год назад

      You see In a acoustic guitar the strings forces the sound hole to begin producing sound at the same frequency as the strings are strum and the sound hole in turn forces all the air molecules in the sound hole into a vibrational motion and because of the large surface area of the sound hole in a acoustic guitar more air molecules sets into producing more clearer sound.

    • @paulw.3967
      @paulw.3967 Год назад

      @@againstTheMatrix471 That word salad doesn't explain anything. The soundhole acts among other things as a bass port. Most of the sound of the guitar is directly radiated off the top of the top, mostly near the bridge. Simultaneously the pressure from the back of the top (inside the guitar) is 180 degrees out of phase with that (the "back wave" is the opposite of the "front wave" and some of that comes out the soundhole with a bit of a delay because there is a longer path from the back of the top to the soundhole and then to the listener.) The top of the guitar acts roughly like a speaker cone, and the soundhole acts at least in part like the bass port in a speaker cabinet.

    You're a flipping inspiration dude! From a young-at-heart dude over a half-decade old. Time flies. This made me feel like I was back in high school. Working on a project and you've been an invaluable source. If I get this off the rails, I'm going to send you some money. Deal? Do you want to get involved now? I could use some help ... although I'm loving the learning. Completed a B.Sc. but don't remember the physics too much. This is great. I have CAD designs of the project. Just need physics based simulations to slightly-more-than-ballpark the electrical energy being generated. Texas could have really used this. The world will be very excited me thinks .. IF I can get it off the rails. This would be a piece of pie for a guy like you. Did you ever make it on the Great Race?
